Really I signed up for blogger so I could comment on my friend's blog. But now I find myself strangely attracted to it.

Last night in my night class I asked my students to write about something they've done that no one in the class had done. I wrote about my brother being a drag queen and the experiences I've had backstage.

Then I asked them to write about something they've never done that most people have. This is where they started throwing stones at me. I've never sat through a Tom Cruise movie. I just find him annoying, and quite honestly, not that physically attractive. I think my class is collecting contributions so I will rent the essential Tom Cruise movies (A Few Good Men, Jerry Maguire, Top Gun, and Risky Business) and watch them.
